Compared to other European car markets, the sales decline in Ukraine due to coronavirus was not so severe. Moreover, in six of the 12 months, sales growth was noted: January (+34%), February (+21%), June (+12%), July (+10%), September (+6%), and December (+7%). A negative result was noted in March (-15%), April (-47%), May (-15%), August (-16%), October (-6%), and November (-17%).

The most popular car brands in Ukraine have also been named. Renault maintains its leadership with 14,360 cars sold. Toyota is in second place (13,315 cars), and Kia is third (6,089). The top five are rounded out by Skoda (5,061 units) and Hyundai (4,031).
