«The volume of aid is growing from year to year. 2020 has already become a landmark year in this regard, as we managed to significantly increase the volume of collected items by increasing the number of containers and expanding the geography, - says the head of the corporate communications department of OKKO, Yaroslava Polyakova. - Thank you to everyone who participates and, through their own contribution, helps to do a great good deed».

Currently, special containers for collecting used items are already installed at 30 OKKO gas stations: nine in Kyiv and Lviv, four in Dnipro, and two containers each in Odesa, Kharkiv, Mariupol, and Zaporizhzhia. The addresses of all gas stations with containers can be found here.

Let us remind you that the project has been running at the OKKO network for eight consecutive years, and volunteer and public organizations help implement it: they pick up used items from gas stations, sort them, and distribute them free of charge to people in need. Currently, OKKO's partners in this project are «Emaus-Oselia», «Ukraina bez mezh», «Dobryi samarianyn», and «Pomogaem». The main recipients of aid are homeless people, residents of orphanages and geriatric institutions, hospice patients, and the like.
