This is the best indicator for the year, not counting the first three months, when owners of cars with European license plates were actively registering their vehicles at reduced rates.
Compared to October last year, the number of registrations of imported used passenger cars increased by 2.3 times.
Among such cars, VOLKSWAGEN was the most common. In October, 4.4 thousand used cars of this brand received Ukrainian license plates.
In second place was Czech SKODA — 2.4 thousand cars got Ukrainian registration.
Third place went to FORD: 2.3 thousand units changed foreign owners to Ukrainian ones.
The top five brands of imported used passenger cars also included RENAULT (2.2 thousand units) and OPEL (1.8 thousand units).
Overall, in January–October, the country registered 349 thousand used foreign cars imported from abroad — this is more than 4 times higher than the result for the same period last year.
