In October, there was a change of leader: RENAULT became the most popular brand among new passenger cars. During the month, 1,834 cars of this French company were added to the Ukrainian car fleet. Compared to October last year, sales grew 2.3 times.
TOYOTA took second place — 1,233 buyers chose it. Although the brand ceded the lead, demand for its new passenger cars still grew by 37%.
KIA took third place, increasing sales by 60% and registering 833 license plates.
VOLKSWAGEN rose to fourth position, increasing October sales by a third — to 604 cars.
SKODA rounds out the top five with a result of 537 cars. This is only 2 cars less than a year ago.
The top ten leaders of the month also included: NISSAN — 472 units (-22%); HYUNDAI — 463 units (+10%); PEUGEOT — 232 units (+40%); MAZDA — 218 units (-17%); FORD — 204 units (-34%).
The best-selling car of the month was the RENAULT Logan — 701 registrations.
In the first ten months of 2019, 70.7 thousand passenger cars underwent primary registration. This is 5% more than in the same period of the previous year.
