Used cars took three quarters of the market

Among used foreign cars imported into the country, VOLKSWAGEN holds the lead. Over the month, 3854 Ukrainian buyers chose this German brand, known for its affordability.

The second place went to RENAULT — 2041 cars of this brand swapped foreign plates for Ukrainian ones.

The third place went to SKODA, with a figure of 1989 cars.

The FORD brand was preferred by 1951 people, securing it the fourth position among used passenger cars being registered in Ukraine for the first time.

OPEL rounds out the top five — 1624 units.

Overall, since January of this year, 274.2 thousand used passenger cars have received Ukrainian registration, which is 5.3 times higher than the figure for the same period last year.

Based on the results of the first seven months of 2019, the ranking of the most popular brands among cars that transitioned from foreign owners to Ukrainian ones looks like this:

VOLKSWAGEN – 52647 units;

OPEL – 26038 units;

RENAULT – 20863 units;

AUDI – 19880 units;

SKODA – 19755 units.
