OKKO and WOG gas station networks have reduced fuel prices by 5–20 kopecks per liter. In turn, "Privat" lowered prices by 17–19 kopecks per liter, setting them at 11.61–11.73 UAH per liter.
At a number of other operators, including AMIC, "BRSM-Nafta", "Nadiya", SUN OIL, and Mango, gas has become cheaper by 6–19 kopecks per liter.
According to the "A-95 Consulting Group", wholesale prices for liquefied gas have decreased by 20% since the beginning of the month, reaching 17,910 UAH per tonne for self-pickup from gas filling stations.
The key factor behind such a significant drop in wholesale prices was the surplus of resource accumulated in the market. In the first two decades of July, 78 thousand tonnes of LPG were imported into the country by rail, which is 18% more than in the same period of July 2018.
