Based on the results of the first five months of 2022, the leader among new passenger cars was the Renault Duster. During the specified period, the largest number of such cars was registered in the country.
The second line of the ranking was taken by the Kia Sportage, which only slightly lost to the winner — the gap was just a few units. This model was chosen by 2019 buyers.
The top three was closed by the Toyota RAV-4, for which 1728 registration documents were issued.
The fourth position went to the Renault Logan — sales of this model reached 1384 units.
The top five most popular cars of the Ukrainian market is closed by the Hyundai Tucson. It was purchased by 966 drivers.
The largest regional market of the country remains Kyiv. In the capital, 10709 cars were registered, which is about a third of the total number registered in Ukraine since the beginning of the year. Among models in Kyiv, the Renault Duster was most often registered — 554 such cars.
The second indicator in the country was demonstrated by the Dnipropetrovsk region, where 2340 new passenger cars received license plates. The most popular there was the Renault Logan — 136 units.
The third place in the regional standings was taken by the Kharkiv region with 2249 registered cars. Local buyers preferred the Korean crossover Kia Sportage — 138 cars.
On the fourth line was the Kyiv region, where 2209 new passenger vehicles have been registered since January. The most popular here was also the Kia Sportage — 155 regional license plates were issued for it.
The list of the largest regional markets is closed by the Odesa region, whose vehicle fleet was replenished by 1826 cars. Residents of the region most often chose the Kia Sportage, buying 118 such cars.
