Used cars still dominate the Ukrainian market for new electric vehicles, accounting for 83.5% of all registrations.

However, demand for new electric cars is growing faster than for used ones. While the number of primary registrations of used cars doubled, for new cars this figure increased by 2.2 times.

The undisputed leader among electric vehicles in Ukraine remains the Nissan Leaf, which occupies 64% of the primary market. Over the year, 3,378 such cars were transferred to Ukrainian plates, with 94% of them imported from abroad with mileage.

The second place in the ranking went to the BMW i3: Ukrainians purchased 352 such cars, of which 69% were used.

Third place went to the Tesla Model S — 259 units, of which 64% had mileage.

The fourth position is held by the Mercedes-Benz B-Class Electric Drive — 168 cars, of which 76% were used.

The top five is rounded out by the Renault Zoe — 142 cars, with 84% of them having mileage.
