The passenger car segment of the domestic automotive industry ended the month with a result of 440 cars, which is half as much as in the same period a year earlier. Almost the entire volume of November passenger car production was provided by the Eurocar plant, which assembled 439 units — this is 40% less than last year's figure.
At ZAZ, only one passenger car was produced. As explained at the enterprise, the car was assembled in test mode to check the condition of technical equipment and compliance with technological processes. For comparison: in November last year, ZAZ produced 160 passenger cars.
Truck production last month (excluding AutoKrAZ, which since August 2016 has stopped publishing data on its production) amounted to only 2 units — this is 14.5 times less than in November 2017.
Bus production decreased by 13%, to 78 units.
Since the beginning of the year, a total of 6350 units of motor vehicles have been manufactured in Ukraine, which is 17% less than in the same period last year.
- Passenger cars — 5463 units (-17%);
- Commercial vehicles — 132 units (-69%);
- Buses — 755 units (+10%).
