Toyota remains the leader among new passenger cars on the Ukrainian market. In March, 898 cars of this Japanese brand hit Ukrainian roads, which is 14% more than in the same period last year.
Volkswagen takes the second place — 828 buyers chose this German brand during the month. Demand for Volkswagen cars jumped by 39% in March, thanks to which the brand moved up one position in the ranking.
Renault closes the top three, having lost a quarter of its customers compared to March last year. The company sold 614 cars in the reporting month.
The fourth place was shared by Audi and Nissan, each selling 442 cars. At the same time, interest in Audi grew by 67%, while Nissan added only 3%.
Skoda took the fifth position with a result of 431 cars (+10%).
The top ten most popular brands of the month also included: Hyundai — 420 cars (+6%), Ford — 266 cars (-11%), Ravon — 262 cars (+93%), Mercedes-Benz — 252 cars (-4%), and Mazda — 227 cars (+12%).
The best-selling car of the month was the Volkswagen Golf, chosen by 414 buyers.
Overall, in the first quarter of 2018, 19.3 thousand new passenger cars were registered in Ukraine, which is 14% more than in the same period last year.
