Compared to February 2017, the number of used cars registered has doubled.
The growth in the share of used cars in the primary market is primarily due to the fact that the reduced excise tax on the import of passenger cars that have already been in use is valid for the last year. In addition, the average asking price has decreased, since this year the benefit also covers cars up to 8 years old.
Among imported foreign cars not of the first freshness, Volkswagen vehicles most often received registration numbers — 949 units over the past month.
Renault took second place in popularity in February — 846 cars of this brand found new owners in Ukraine, changing their registration.
Skoda closes the top three with 628 cars.
The top ten most sought-after used foreign cars in the primary market in February also included:
Ford — 429 units, Nissan — 354 units, Opel — 316 units, BMW — 312 units, Audi — 304 units, Toyota — 252 units, and Mercedes-Benz — 202 units.
