Last year, the fleet of purely electric vehicles was mainly replenished by imported used examples — their share in the primary market exceeded 85%. For comparison: a year earlier, the proportion between new and used electric cars was 49% and 51%, respectively.
The leader among electric vehicles in Ukraine remains the Nissan Leaf — in 2017, it accounted for 2,219 purchases, which is 2.4 times more than in 2016. The BMW i3 moved up to second place, having been only fifth in the previous year: this Bavarian electric car was chosen by 107 drivers — three times more than before.
Third place in the ranking went to the Tesla Model S with a result of 73 cars (+59%). The fourth spot was held by the electric version of the Ford Focus — 59 units (+5%). The top five is rounded out by the Fiat 500E, which was purchased by 39 people compared to 3 in 2016.
