In December, the market for new commercial vehicles showed growth of 8% compared to the same month in 2016, reaching 1,205 sold vehicles.
The leader in popularity in 2017 was the Renault brand. Over the year, 2,147 commercial vehicles of this French brand were registered, which is 27% more than in the previous year.
The second position was taken by Fiat with a result of 1,173 vehicles. Sales of this brand over the past year increased by 12%.
The third place went to Ford — 1,126 vehicles, which is 86% higher than in 2016.
In fourth place in the ranking, despite the current sanctions, was the Russian GAZ. Its vehicles added 962 new commercial vehicles to the Ukrainian fleet, and demand for the group's products grew by 3% compared to the previous year.
Closing the top five is Volkswagen with 911 vehicles sold, which is 27% more than a year earlier.
