Compared to the same period last year, the share of petrol cars in the new car market has remained almost unchanged — twelve months ago it was 53.8 percent.
Among petrol models, the Skoda Octavia was the most popular in the reporting period — it was chosen by 2,080 buyers.
Despite the dieselgate, which is increasingly unfolding in Europe and the United States, diesel cars still firmly hold second place in the Ukrainian passenger car market with a figure of 38.8%, which is 1% more than a year earlier.
In the diesel segment, the KIA Sportage led — 2,431 people chose it.
Cars with gas equipment took 5.1% of the market, while a year ago their share was almost 7 percent.
Here, the domestic model ZAZ Sens holds the lead — 253 units.
The share of hybrid cars grew from 0.7% last year to 2.3% this year. The best-selling hybrid was the Totyota RAV-4 crossover with 911 cars sold.
Electric vehicles, which run only on electric traction, covered only 0.5% of the new passenger car market in the eleven months of 2017. In the previous year, they accounted for 0.9% of sales.
The most sought-after electric car among Ukrainians remains the Nissan Leaf. From January to November, 198 motorists bought this model.
