Toyota tops the ranking with a significant lead — 8,699 buyers chose this brand. Compared to last year, Toyota's sales grew by 27 percent, and the most popular model during this period was the Toyota RAV-4 crossover, which was chosen by 2,445 Ukrainians.
Renault took second place in demand — over eleven months, 7,543 people purchased passenger cars of this brand. Renault improved its last year's result by a third. The main sales driver was the Logan model, which brought 2,550 registration numbers to the brand.
Skoda closed the top three — 5,018 cars sold, which is 42% more than in the same period last year. The most popular model of the Czech brand among Ukrainians remains the Octavia: 2,392 cars of this model joined the domestic car fleet.
Volkswagen rose to the fourth line, having previously settled for fifth place a year earlier. Interest in the German people's car grew by 28% and reached 5,706 units. The flagship of Volkswagen sales was the Polo model — 1,228 units.
The Korean brand KIA rounds out the top five — 4,853 registered sales since the beginning of the year (+39% compared to last year's figure). The main model providing volumes was the bestseller of the Ukrainian new passenger car market — the compact crossover KIA Sportage, which was preferred by 3,358 motorists.
In addition, the TOP-10 most popular brands for 11 months included: Hyundai — 3,856 units (+30%); Nissan — 3,851 units (+24%); Ford — 3,214 units (+4%); BMW — 2,598 units (-8%) and Mercedes Benz — 2,592 units (+18%).
