According to analysts at A-95, by August 29 the average price of autogas reached UAH 16.16 per liter, but by September 18 it had dropped to UAH 14.71 per liter. Wholesale prices for liquefied gas over the same period fell by more than 23% — from UAH 29,000 per ton to UAH 22,270 per ton.
A-95 expert Artem Kuyun explains that the market stabilized thanks to an increase in import supplies, which reached 105 thousand tons. The decisive factor was the arrival of Russian transit gas from Belarus, with some batches that traders expected to receive back in June-July.
According to Kuyun, the hype and shortage are no longer relevant, but external market trends, supply instability, and currency fluctuations keep wholesale prices within UAH 23,000–24,000 per ton. In retail, according to A-95 forecasts, the average price will stay at the level of UAH 14.5–15.5 per liter.
