In the total volume of automobile production, the largest share was passenger cars, of which 642 units were produced: +58% compared to the July figure and +108% compared to August last year.
Also in August, 68 buses were produced, which is 17% more than the July figure and 94% more than the result of last August.
In the reporting month, 32 trucks were registered in the production statistics of "Ukrautoprom", which is a third less than the indicator of July this year. In August of last year, trucks were no longer in the statistics, since from that month PJSC "AutoKrAZ" for unexplained reasons stopped disclosing information about the production volumes of its vehicles.
In total, over eight months of 2017, 4,874 vehicles were produced in Ukraine, which is 74% more than the result of the previous year. Of them:
Passenger cars – 4,125 units (+86% compared to the same period last year).
Commercial vehicles – 286 units (-41% compared to the same period last year).
Buses – 463 units (+333% compared to the same period last year).
