At the same time, cars registered abroad were not included in these calculations.

Compared to August last year, the number of first registrations of used passenger cars increased 19 times. However, for the first time since the beginning of the year, a decline in activity in this segment relative to the previous month was recorded — by 0.6%.

The most popular brand among used cars in August was Volkswagen, chosen by 934 drivers. Renault dropped to second place — 922 first registrations, third and fourth places were taken by Skoda (611 units) and Opel (381 units). In fifth position — Nissan (246 units), and sixth place with a gap of one car went to BMW.

The top ten also included: Ford (235 units), Mercedes-Benz (213 units), Toyota (171 units) and Audi (169 units).
