This dynamic is explained by the significant share of used cars in the market: if in July last year their share was only 4%, now it has reached 45%.

The number of first registrations of imported used cars in July exceeded five thousand and amounted to 5,215 units. This is 23 times more than in the same period last year, and 11% higher than June figures.

In the ranking of imported second-hand cars, Renault again took the lead, registering 973 cars. It pushed last month's leader, Volkswagen, to second place, whose 917 cars received Ukrainian license plates. Skoda still holds third place with 632 units, and Opel is fourth with 418 registrations. Nissan, with 289 units, has been closing the top five for the fifth consecutive month.

For all mentioned brands, except Nissan, the volumes of first registrations of used cars significantly outpace sales of new cars. At the same time, vehicles driving in Ukraine with foreign license plates are not included in these statistics.
