In particular, in the largest network owned by the Privat group, gasoline and diesel fuel became cheaper by 50 kopecks per liter. At Avias, ANP, Ukrnafta and other gas stations, the cost of diesel fuel is now 21.50 UAH/l. A similar price reduction by half a hryvnia was also recorded at other major operators: WOG, SOCAR, Shell, AMIC and others. As a result, the difference between Privat's prices and those of major international networks remained in the range of 2.50–3.00 UAH/l.

On Friday, June 16, the first steps towards cheaper fuel were taken by such large networks as OKKO, BRSM-Nafta and Shell.

These steps affected the overall price dynamics in the country. Thus, the average cost of A-92 gasoline fell to 23.94 UAH/l, A-95 to 24.67 UAH/l, and diesel fuel to 22.39 UAH/l, which is 35 kopecks less than previous figures. The average price of premium types of "fifth" gasoline decreased by 36 kopecks and amounted to 25.72 UAH/l.

Earlier it was reported that retail prices for diesel fuel could drop to 21.50 UAH/l, that is, 1.3 UAH/l below the current level.
