In the total volume of automobile production, the largest share was passenger cars, of which 662 units were produced: +16% compared to the April figure and +40% compared to May last year.
Also in May, 50 buses were produced, which is 2% lower than the previous month's figure and at the same time 35.1% higher than the result of last May.
In the reporting month, 10 trucks were registered in the production statistics of "Ukrautoprom" (all produced by PJSC "ZAZ"). At the same time, we note that PJSC "AutoKrAZ" for unexplained reasons refuses to disclose information about the volume of car production since August last year.
In total, over the first five months of 2017, 2,786 vehicles were produced in Ukraine, which is 67.1% more than the result of the previous year. Of these:
Passenger cars – 2,353 units (+82.7% compared to the same period last year).
Commercial vehicles – 163 units (-50.8% compared to the same period last year).
Buses – 270 units (+462.5% compared to the same period last year).
