Plug-In Ukraine will showcase the full range of electric transport: electric cars, plug-in hybrids, electric motorcycles, mopeds, scooters, electric bicycles, children's electric cars, as well as charging stations, batteries, software, accessories, and more.

The steady growth in popularity of eco-friendly transport has long been a global trend. Currently, the number of electric cars sold worldwide exceeds 1 million. In Ukraine, the numbers are much more modest: about a thousand electric cars drive on our roads. According to the organizers, Plug-In Ukraine should become a platform for promoting "clean" transport that is safe for the environment. The key task of the exhibition is to popularize electric transport in Ukraine and develop the infrastructure of charging stations. The All-Ukrainian Association of Automobile Importers and Dealers (VAAID) provides comprehensive assistance in organizing Plug-In Ukraine.

During Plug-In Ukraine, the Nokian Tyres booth will feature the Nokian Hakkapeliitta R2 tire in size 155/70R19 84Q, developed specifically for the unique electric car BMW i3. These tires feature record-low rolling resistance - for electric car owners, of course, energy efficiency is the key advantage of the Nokian Hakkapeliitta R2. Thanks to a nearly 30% (!) reduction in rolling resistance, the electric car's range without recharging has significantly increased.

Expanding the availability of recharging is one of the important aspects for our country. We still have few electric charging stations. To date, about 100 electric charging stations have been equipped, mainly in large cities and on highways in the western region. Ukrainian owners of "clean" cars hope that due to the growing interest in electric transport, this direction will develop.

Nokian Tyres believes that the electric car market in the world and in Ukraine, in particular, has great prospects, since the issue of reducing harmful emissions is especially relevant today. By participating in the first Ukrainian specialized exhibition of electric transport, the representative office of the Finnish tire manufacturer shows its commitment to environmental standards and readiness to promote the development of this safe, clean mode of transport in our country.
