The head of the National Police, in an interview with Ukrinform, admitted that the Toyota Prius is not the optimal choice for patrol service. According to her, with sufficient funding in the future, it will be possible to purchase vehicles better suited to the needs of the police.
Dekanoidze also reported that negotiations on this issue are already underway with the Japanese side. She did not disclose details, but expressed hope that the fleet would be updated in the near future.
