The network of filling stations "OKKO" states that the information spread on February 25-26 in some media under the headline "The SFS named the worst gas stations in Ukraine" and similar – about allegedly detected low-quality diesel fuel at one of the "OKKO" filling stations in the Zakarpattia region – does not correspond to reality, is of a commissioned nature, and is a reaction of competitors to the company's active position in the fight against smuggling and counterfeiting in the Ukrainian fuel market.

It was the "OKKO" network together with the State Fiscal Service that initiated the introduction of electronic administration of the turnover of petroleum products. Thanks to this mechanism, in the coming months a significant part of unscrupulous operators of the fuel market will lose the opportunity to evade taxation. Obviously, they are not satisfied with the prospect of competing honestly and paying in full all mandatory taxes and fees.

The "OKKO" network notes that at all filling stations of the company only imported high-quality fuel of the Euro-5 standard is sold. In particular, for the Zakarpattia region it is purchased at the refinery of the Hungarian company MOL. From the moment of purchase to getting to the filling station, the fuel in the "OKKO" network undergoes three degrees of internal quality control. The company keeps all arbitration samples of external fuel checks and is ready to defend its case in a legal manner.

The "OKKO" network appeals to journalists with a request to remain objective and verify information for accuracy before publication.
