Kyiv police report that February turned out to be the most tense month in terms of the number of stolen cars. Perhaps the capital of Ukraine has become a leader nationwide as well. Criminals do not disdain either budget VAZs or elite Mercedes.
More and more often, thefts are committed right in the middle of the day, and on fairly busy highways. But, judging by the data, the bulk of car thefts still occur at night. Most often, cars disappear from courtyards and parking lots located near large shopping centers. Exact figures for February will appear in March, but it is already clear today: the indicators may turn out to be the highest in recent years.
Gas stations have become a new favorite spot for scammers. Attempts to attack gas stations are increasingly being written about on social media by both ordinary drivers and even people's deputies. Gas station workers also confirm the increased cases of crime.
