On November 7, a significant number of MREOs in Ukraine suspended registration actions with vehicles, their re-registration, as well as the issuance of certificates and a number of other services. The Ministry of Internal Affairs explains this situation by temporary reasons and expects that in the near future, citizen services will be fully restored. It is worth noting that the units are now called Centers for the Provision of Services of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
The press service of the department explained that the personnel are being transferred to work in police mode, and employees are undergoing re-certification. As Minister Arsen Avakov stated, the reform will also affect the MREOs themselves. Official details have not yet been disclosed, but some centers have already resumed accepting citizens, and in other regions, the establishment of their activities continues.
