Route number stencils for minibuses are attached, as before, on the front, side and rear windows of vehicles.
The Department of Transport Infrastructure of the Kyiv City State Administration reported: "For the pilot project, route No. 433 was chosen. Designers developed a unified look for informational stencils with route numbers: yellow font on a gray background, which is the most favorable for reading by passengers. Residents of the capital will be able to evaluate the convenience of the new stencils and express their opinion about the innovation on our Facebook page".
Nevertheless, passengers were skeptical about the innovation. Most of them believe that first of all, it is not the signs that need to be changed, but the quality of service and the technical condition of the transport should be improved. Also, the uniform of drivers should be regulated.
It is hard to disagree with such wishes. If a route bus looks like a rusty tin can, then the neat appearance of the signs will not save the situation.
