Recall, the KrAZ-MPV Shrek One family of vehicles are multi-purpose armored vehicles with high cross-country capability of the MPV (Mine Protected Vehicle) class with a V-shaped bottom. This shape allows reducing the load on the vehicle body in case of hitting a mine. The main modification of such a vehicle is designed to perform tasks of rapid movement of personnel of units, as well as cargo and equipment. KrAZ-MPV Shrek One are armored according to the level of ballistic protection B6+/STANAG 4569 level 2. The vehicle is built on the chassis of the KrAZ-5233 all-terrain vehicle with a 4x4 wheel arrangement. The demining version differs from the base model by a shortened protected compartment and a platform at the rear, on which the manipulator is mounted.
