The Interagency Commission on International Trade has decided to reduce the special duty on passenger cars imported into Ukraine with gasoline engines ranging from 1 to 2.2 liters.
Yes, if before April 14 the special duty on cars with engines of 1.0-1.5 liters was 4.31 percent, now it has decreased to 2.15 percent. For cars with engines of 1.5-2.2 liters, the rate decreased from 8.63% to 4.32%. This duty will completely cease to apply in a year.
Consequently, in theory, all vehicles that were imported into Ukraine after April 14 should become cheaper by the specified amount. However, it is worth emphasizing: such a relaxation applies only to gasoline cars.
