Now the price tags at gas stations say the opposite. At the moment, the average cost of a liter of diesel fuel has reached 22.36 UAH, while A-95 gasoline is estimated at 20.57 UAH per liter. And this is despite the fact that production costs for gasoline are obviously higher. Curious, isn't it?

Deputy Director of the STC "Psychea" Hennadii Riabtsev noted: "Diesel has indeed overtaken gasoline in price, and the main, initial reason lies in seasonality. In spring, the cost of diesel fuel is traditionally higher than in winter. The second factor is that the army is increasing its consumption of this type of fuel. And third: there is practically no domestic product on the market."

In the past, when Ukraine itself produced diesel fuel, its average price remained lower than that of gasoline. However, now about 90% of this product is imported.
