According to the document, in order to ensure the free movement of citizens between EU member states, Ukraine will introduce European-style driver's licenses. The new licenses will have a microchip.
In addition, the regulation establishes uniform medical examination periods for drivers in all countries, introduces requirements for basic qualification and training of persons who conduct driving license exams, and also unifies requirements for driving license exams.
As noted, the provisions of the directive must be implemented in Ukraine by November 2017.
