In this regard, the Prime Minister reminded that over the past few weeks the drop in oil prices has reached 24%. “For many countries, including Ukraine, this is good news, unlike for Russia,” said Arseniy Yatsenyuk.
In addition, it is worth noting that the prices of many other energy carriers, including gas, are tied to oil prices. And for a country that consumes a huge amount of blue fuel, this is very important.
In addition, the Prime Minister met with representatives of oil companies. “I expect their decision on a certain reduction in the price of petroleum products in Ukraine, since this corresponds to the global trend. So far there are assurances, but I will only believe when I see different price tags at gas stations,” the head of government emphasized.
In order to make it easier for sellers to decide on reducing prices for petroleum products, the Antimonopoly Committee of Ukraine will “help” them.
