Over the past 6 months, 472 car thefts have been registered in the capital of Ukraine
Traffic police officers report that in the capital, cars are most often stolen on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Saturday. As a rule, attempts to illegally take possession of vehicles occur at night.
The head of the traffic police department of the Darnytskyi district, Fedir Polonskyi, noted that criminals usually take from two to three minutes to steal a car. Over the course of six months, the most popular brands among thieves were the following:
1) VAZ
2) Toyota
3) Daewoo
4) Mitsubishi
5) Mazda
