The capital and regional divisions of the State Automobile Inspection were the first to receive the new equipment. Residents of Kyiv can already test the new product. But for drivers in the region, new licenses and registration certificates will begin to be issued starting the next day.
The new forms, despite their high quality and reliable protection against counterfeiting, will be significantly cheaper. The State Automobile Inspection notes that the 42% price reduction is a clear indication that state structures are working in the interests of citizens, and the return of trust in the authorities begins with concrete actions.
In other regions of the country, the issuance of new-style documents will start on May 21, when the necessary complexes arrive there. However, the installation of equipment may take up to two days. So, full-scale work outside Kyiv and the region will likely unfold only by May 26.
