In 2006, at the SEMA show, he presented one of his projects — a 1967 Volvo Amazon with 600 horsepower. Now Vox has turned his attention to another classic Volvo model — the P1800. The Swedish creative studio Vizualtech helped him bring the idea to life. Let us remind you that the P1800 was produced since 1960 and occupied a sports niche in the company's lineup.
Despite the external resemblance to the original, the project received a number of modifications: in particular, the front part of the body was lengthened by 70 mm to accommodate an eight-cylinder engine from the XC90 and S80 models under the hood. In its base form, this 4.4-liter engine produces 315 hp and 440 Nm of torque. The turbocharging installation, provided by Vox, should increase power to the range of 550–650 hp. Vizualtech specialists proposed such stylistic solutions as widened wheel arches, new front and rear lights, as well as a diffuser at the rear.
