Specialists from Manhart started with modifications to the chassis — the Audi RQ 900 is lowered by 30 millimeters below the standard RS Q8, and then the car received a new aerodynamic body kit. The kit includes a hood, front splitter, fender flares, side skirts, and a diffuser. The interior of the crossover is upholstered in black leather with contrasting stitching, complemented by Alcantara and carbon fiber inserts.

The main changes are hidden under the hood. The four-liter V8 with a mild hybrid system received larger turbos, reinforced internal components, and new ECU software. The gearbox and exhaust system were also refined. At the customer's request, versions with a downpipe without catalytic converters or a straight-through muffler are available.

As a result, power increased from 600 horsepower and 800 Nm of torque to 900 horsepower and 1080 Nm. The dynamic performance of the RQ 900 is not disclosed. The standard Audi RS Q8 reaches 100 km/h in 3.8 seconds, which is a tenth of a second better than the current Porsche Cayenne Turbo. The Lamborghini Urus is slightly ahead — its acceleration to 100 km/h takes 3.6 seconds.
