The car is built on the basis of the 488 GTB coupe. The premiere of the car should take place this autumn at the Frankfurt Motor Show.
The new model is equipped with a 670-horsepower V8 engine, thanks to which it received the title of the most powerful roadster in the brand's model range.
The engine is paired with a 7-speed preselective gearbox. The first 100 km/h 488 Spider reaches in 3 seconds. The top speed of the car is 330 km/h.
The new supercar is designed on a frame chassis made of various aluminum alloys. The production version of the car will likely be equipped with an electronic side slip control system Side Slip Control, which controls both traction and the operation of the electronic differential E-Diff, and also manages active shock absorbers.
