The upgraded technology uses a radar in the front bumper and a camera behind the windshield, as well as headlights. The system takes 30 images per second and can distinguish people from road objects or trees. If the driver does not react to audiovisual warnings about a possible collision with a pedestrian, the electronic assistant will independently stop the car.
