The new product is capable of covering 200 kilometers on a single charge.
The three-axle truck is equipped with two electric motors located on the rear axle as close to the wheels as possible. The total output of the motors is 340 horsepower, and their maximum torque reaches 11 thousand Nm. The units are powered by three sets of lithium-ion batteries with a capacity of 212 kilowatt-hours.
When using fast charging stations with a power of 100 kilowatts, the truck's batteries can be charged in two to three hours. According to the manufacturer, the range of such a tractor can be compared to diesel counterparts.
Serial production of such an electric truck may begin after 2020.
