As reported by Automotive World, the Korean manufacturer intends to use a cloud platform that will ensure interaction between vehicles. The project has the preliminary name Car to Life.
The idea is to develop "smart" vehicles that can inform each other about road conditions, potentially dangerous areas, or accidents that have occurred.
The company believes that such technologies will help significantly reduce the number of road accidents and will also become a significant step towards the creation of self-driving cars.
Recall that earlier we reported that Toyota and Microsoft will join forces in working on future technologies at the Toyota Connect center in Texas.
