In all likelihood, the premium electric vehicle will be the new generation Volkswagen Phaeton. According to the manufacturer, the car will differ from its predecessor with a striking design and the latest technologies. The new model is scheduled to appear in 2020.
Preliminary information suggests that the Phaeton's powertrain will consist of three electric motors with a total output of around 430 hp. The car will be able to travel from 250 to 500 kilometers without recharging.
It is known that the next generation Volkswagen Phaeton will increase in size and feature a fully aluminum body. Externally, the car will differ significantly from the previous model, but it will retain all the characteristic features of modern Volkswagen.
