The Ford Fusion with a hybrid powertrain was taken as a test model, equipped with front cameras, radar, and ultrasonic sensors. The experimental sedan also features special devices that create a 3D map of the vehicle's surroundings.



It is important to note that the Ford Fusion Hybrid is considered the first car whose testing began on a specially equipped territory called Mcity (near the University of Michigan).
