The new development makes the body pillars "transparent" by projecting onto them images of those sections of the road that are hidden behind these structural elements.

The system is based on displays built into each pillar of the car and cameras that transmit in real time to the screens the picture hidden by these parts of the body. The pillars become "transparent" at the right moment — for example, when maneuvering or approaching an intersection.

Along with the screens and cameras, a head-up display works, which highlights other road users located near the car.
