In China, they are making a train capable of reaching 3000 km/h

According to Chinese engineers, this is a maglev train, for which special tunnels will be developed, from which air will be pumped out. According to preliminary calculations, this will minimize resistance and achieve unreal speeds.

For general development, we note that today the fastest maglev train is the Japanese JR-Maglev, reaching 581 km/h. But more than 80% of the energy spent goes precisely to overcoming air resistance. This suggests that in theory the Chinese can indeed create an "intergalactic" train.
