Tesla has introduced a racing modification of the Model S hatchback, prepared for participation in the Electric GT series.
For participation in the races, a Model S P85+ modification with 420 horsepower was taken, while the engine and batteries were left unchanged. The adjustments only affected the chassis, brake system, and body kit.
The start of the first stage of Electric GT is scheduled for tomorrow, September 27, at the track on the Spanish island of Ibiza. The season calendar includes seven races, including a stage at the legendary Nürburgring track.
