Before us is a 1957 Ferrari 335 Sport Scaglietti that competed in races in 1957-1958.

Given the final price of $35.7 million, this car has taken second place in the list of the most expensive cars on the planet. The lead still belongs to the 1962 Ferrari 250 GTO Berlinetta, which was sold for $38.1 million in 2014.
Before the auction, the car belonged to the famous Ferrari collector Pierre Bardinon. There is information that this particular example took part in competitions in Cuba in 1958 with Stirling Moss at the wheel. It is also the first car to reach a speed of over 200 kilometers per hour in the "24 Hours of Le Mans". In total, presumably, only four such cars were produced.
