At all automobile shows, Citroen presents its production and concept developments. This year in Beijing, the French showed the Citroёn C-XR Concept concept car.
This car belongs to the popular crossover class. It features original design, comfort, and, as it is not hard to guess, is a sibling of the Peugeot 2008.
The C-XR Concept was developed by Citroёn together with DONGFENG Motor Group and is aimed at the popular fast-growing crossover segment. Only in China, 3 million cars were sold in 2013. This is 50% more than in 2012.
The car, as is typical for the entire Citroёn product line, features original design and comfort. Thanks to a detailed approach to the meaning of the word "comfort", the Citroёn C-XR Concept took the best from the brand's developments. Due to this, it is able to provide the driver and passengers with a feeling of safety, coziness, and convenience.

The driver of the Citroёn C-XR Concept will get maximum pleasure thanks to a comfortable seating position, as in a familiar sedan, while being in a car with a higher ground clearance and better visibility.
Passengers of the Citroёn C-XR Concept will also not be left out; they will not complain about space. The largest wheelbase in the segment (2.65 m) gives them a large amount of space both in the front seats and on the rear sofa.
Many modern technologies applied in the Citroёn C-XR Concept allow improving handling, cross-country capability, road grip, and, at the same time, reducing harm to the environment.

The Grip Control system in combination with all-season tires allows significantly improving cross-country capability on roads with poor surface or slippery surface.
Despite the concept status, the Citroen crossover will soon go on sale in almost this form, but under a different name
