The new JAC SC-9 development is a massive machine with a giant radiator grille and resembles a work of science fiction writers. It could well become the hero of some space saga.

From the rear, the SC-9 looks no less impressive. A huge one-piece panel of LED optics, a double tailgate, and a fancy-shaped bumper with an integrated central exhaust pipe.
The JAC SC-9 has three rows of seats with two seats in each row. The seats in the middle row can rotate 180 degrees. The steering wheel resembles a spacecraft control panel. The interior trim impresses with its quality and combination of materials. There are elements of wood, polished metal, leather, and even carbon fiber parts. In addition, the car has gesture control sensors... they track the driver's hand movements and transmit signals to a special controller that manages the multimedia system.

According to JAC specialists, a production version with elements of the SC-9's style and technology can be seen as early as 2017.
Nothing was said about the powertrain, but there are rumors that the car will be equipped with a two-liter turbo engine producing 250 hp.
If at least half of the concept car's solutions make it to the production model, it will likely turn out to be an excellent car capable of competing on equal terms with Japanese, Korean, and European brands. But that's in theory...
