As part of a large analysis involving more than 300,000 cars, experts examined over 20 types of possible malfunctions — from harmless trifles such as squeaky brakes or sloppy trim, to significant failures: engine, transmission, electric drive, batteries, and charging systems.
As it turned out, some models proved to be so unreliable that within just a few months of operation, their owners had to stand in lines at service centers.
The worst indicator in the anti-leader ranking was achieved by the hybrid Ford F-150 — it became the most problematic among all models covered by the study.
