The FAW B30 sedan has become noticeably more attractive in price: until the end of November, its cost in the new COMFORT version is fixed at a minimum mark of 282,000 hryvnias. This is cheaper than many analogues with a manual transmission and more modest equipment.

The B30 model is one of the company's latest developments: its production started in 2016. The car is built on a new modular architecture, based on the PQ32 platform from Volkswagen. The sedan's interior is quite spacious, and the trunk holds 480 liters. Vehicle dimensions: 4625 mm in length, 1790 mm in width, 1500 mm in height, wheelbase — 2630 mm. Under the hood is a naturally aspirated gasoline engine with a displacement of 1.6 liters, producing 109 hp at 5500 rpm and 155 Nm of torque at 3600 rpm. The manufacturer claims fuel consumption in the combined cycle at 6.7 l/100 km. The kinship of the power unit with Volkswagen engines is especially emphasized — this concern has long been a strategic partner of FAW. The engine is paired with a 6-speed automatic transmission AISIN of Japanese production.

In the COMFORT version, the FAW B30 gets a set of options and safety systems that competitors often lack:

  • Reinforced body with 3H design, providing increased rigidity.
  • A set of electronic assistants: ABS, EBD, emergency braking assistance system, TCS, ESP, electric power steering.
  • Disc brakes on both axles.
  • Airbags for the driver and front passenger.
  • Automatic door opening in case of an accident.
  • Immobilizer, central locking and full electric package.
